Raymond H. Denlinger, 81, of Hartman Bridge Road, Ronks, PA died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at his residence.He and his wife Marilyn Horst Denlinger were married December 24, 1960.Born in East Lampeter Township, he was the son of the late Paul and Ruth Hershey Denlinger.
Raymond was employed as a real estate agent for 55 years, retiring in 2014 from Kingsway Realty.He was a member of Neffsville Mennonite Church, where he was active in the music department as a choir member and song leader. His love of music carried over into several quartets and music groups. He was a member of the Lancaster Red Rose Barbershop Chorus, the Catalina "4", the Lancaster Youth for Christ Quartet, and the Heraldaires Quartet.
Raymond was a graduate of Eastern Mennonite College.
Surviving in addition to his wife Marilyn is a son, Scott (spouse Laura Shelton) of Lancaster, a daughter, Charity Horst (spouse Kenda Horst) of San Francisco, CA; two grandsons, Nicholas Denlinger and Andreas Denlinger; a brother Lloyd H. (spouse Norma) of Strasburg; and three sisters, Dorothy (Ira) Nolt of Ephrata, Rhoda (Allen) Carr of Middletown, and Mary Ann (Cleo) Hershey of New Holland.
A memorial service will be held at Neffsville Mennonite Church, 2371 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA on Saturday September 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM with a visitation from 9:00AM until the time of service.
