Ralph E. Joe, Jr.

Ralph E. Joe, Jr., age 92 of Christiana, PA, passed away at Newport Meadows on Tuesday, February 6, 2024.  He was the husband of Anne Peters Joe, with whom he would have celebrated 73 years of marriage on March 10th.  He was born in Paradise, son of the late Ralph E. and Ruth F. Keener Joe.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pequea.  He graduated from the former Christiana High School class of 1950.    Ralph worked for Hirst Systems of Christiana retiring in 1993.  He enjoyed woodworking, ham radio and any kind of work around the house.   Surviving besides his wife are 2 children: Kathie A. wife of  James Miller of Christiana, Scott M. Joe, 3 grandchildren: Brandon husband of Ellen Hartshorne Miller, Kelsey Miller fiance of Chad Todd, Michael, 3 great grandchildren: Judah, Nella & Charlie.  He was preceded in death by a son Larry Joe, 3 siblings:  Jackie Joe, Fred Joe and Virginia Faddis.

Funeral service will take place from the First Baptist Church of Pequea, 6062 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gap, PA, on Monday, February 12th at 11 a.m., with a viewing time from 10 a.m. until time of service.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Pequea or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
