Rachel N. Nissley

Rachel N. Nissley, age 90, passed away at her home in Holtwood on Wednesday, August 29, 2018.She was the wife of the late Paul V. Nissley who died December 12, 2015. Born in Manheim, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Lizzie Newcomer Snavely.
A homemaker and lifetime farmer's wife, she was a member of Willow Street Mennonite Church.
Rachel is survived by a daughter, Joan E. wife of Gary A. Dean of Strasburg; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Larry L. Nissley, Donald R. Nissley and a brother, Raymond Snavely.
A memorial service will be held at Willow Street Mennonite Church, 399 East Penn Grant Road, Willow Street, PA on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 6:30PM.An informal visitation will follow the service. Traditional interment in Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery will be private.Contributions may be made in Rachel's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital 626 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
