Rachel B. Stoltzfus, age 73, of 12163 Herndon Oak Grove Road, Herndon, Kentucky, formerly of Quarryville, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. She was the wife of Jacob M. Stoltzfus of KY and the late Jacob M. Stoltzfus. Born in Christiana, she was the daughter of the late Issac B. and Savilla Beiler King. Rachel was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 8 children: Christian K. husband of Rachel Z. Beiler Stoltzfus of Fort Plains, NY, Benjamin K. husband of Katie S. King Stoltzfus of Peach Bottom, Isaac B, husband of Barbara K. Stoltzfus Stoltzfus of Quarryville, Rebecca K. wife of Daniel L. Stoltzfus of Christiana, Jacob K. husband of Malinda K. Fisher Stoltzfus of Fort Plains, NY, Daniel K. husband of Rachel F. Zook Stoltzfus of Ephrata, Anna Mary wife of Elmer K. Ebersol of Farmville, VA, Amos K. husband of Mary B. Huyard Stoltzfus of Cumberland, VA, 10 step-children: Joel husband of Lizzie Beiler Stoltzfus, Eli husband of Susie Beiler Stoltzfus, Abner husband of Miriam Beiler Stoltzfus, Isaac husband of Mary Stoltzfoos Stoltzfus, Hannah Stoltzfus, Malinda wife of David Stoltzfoos, Samuel husband of Emma Stoltzfus Stoltzfus, Jacob husband of Nancy Smoker Stoltzfus, Sadie wife of Elam King, Susie wife of Adlai Mast, 34 grandchildren, 56 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren and 4 siblings: Rebecca B. wife of Elam E. Beiler, Amos B. husband of Katie Esh King, both of Christiana, Lydia B. wife of Jacob Fisher and the late Stephen S. Stoltzfus, Fannie B. wife of Daniel Stoltzfoos, both of Nottingham. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, and 2 siblings: Christian B. King and Sadie B. Stoltzfus and 1 step-grandchild.
Funeral service will take place form the former home, 240 Fulton View Road, Quarryville, on Saturday, October 12 at 9 a.m. EST. Interment will be in the Fairmount Amish Cemetery. Friends may call from the time of this notice until time of service.
