Pranee "Nee"
Hogg
October 11, 1949 – May 25, 2025
With hearts full of love and gratitude, we remember the beautiful life of Pranee "Nee" Hogg, who passed away peacefully at her home in Quarryville, Pennsylvania, on May 25th, 2025, at the age of 75. Born in Thailand on October 11, 1949, Pranee made a courageous journey across the world to build a life in the United States. Though far from her birthplace, she carried her heritage proudly in her heart and in her hands—especially through her legendary cooking, which brought joy to everyone around her. Her famous eggrolls were more than just food; they were a symbol of her love, generosity, and the warmth she brought into every room. Pranee, lovingly known as "Nee" by all who knew her, had a radiant personality and a heart of gold. She had an unmatched sense of humor and loved to share laughter—especially with her beloved partner and best friend, Joe Hodgson, who stood by her side with love and joy. She had a special way of lifting spirits, bringing smiles, and making everyone feel welcome. Nee was a proud and loving mother to David Hogg, Andrew Hogg, and Diane Hogg, and a doting grandmother to Marigold and Chloe, who adored her deeply. She is now reunited in peace with her parents, whom she loved dearly. A true sports enthusiast, Nee always watched games and could cheer with the best of them—especially when her favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, took the field. Whether it was football, baseball, basketball, or hockey, she found joy in the thrill of the game and the community it brought. But above all else, Nee will be remembered for her giving heart. She gave selflessly, without hesitation or expectation—whether it was a home-cooked meal, a thoughtful gift, or simply her time and love. Her generosity and compassion were boundless, and her legacy lives on in every act of kindness she inspired. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we celebrate the legacy she leaves behind: one of resilience, love, laughter, and endless giving. Her memory will live on in every meal shared, every Steelers game cheered, and every smile sparked by a well-timed joke. Pranee "Nee" Hogg was truly one of a kind. Her memory will forever be a blessing, and her love will continue to guide us.
A Graveside Service will take place in the Quarryville Cemetery, 548 South Park Ave., Quarryville, PA, on May 28th at 2 p.m.
