Polly A. Carl

Polly A. Carl, age 92 of Lancaster, passed away on October 22, 2026 at Brethren Village Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late Lester L. Carl Jr. She was born in Paradise, daughter of the late J. Walter and Carrie B. Eshleman Moore. Polly enjoyed singing hymns and pop tunes from the 1930s-1970s, looking at the Susquehanna river. Additionally, she adored her children and their children's children immensely: they were the "apple of her eye." She is survived by 3 children: Karen wife of the late Robert Brown of Prescott, AZ, David husband of Jennifer Carl of Cochranville, PA, Donald G. Carl of Wesley Chapel, FL, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a brother, Jerry husband of Janice Moore of Winfield, PA. She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas K. Late husband of Wanda Carl of Lancaster. 

Funeral service will take place from Calvary Monument Bible Church, 1660 Mine Road, Paradise, on Thursday, October 29th at 11am with a viewing from 10-11am. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
