Phyllis E. Desalle

Phyllis E. DeSalle, of Oxford, PA, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Christiana Hospital, Delaware.  She was born in Bainbridge, MD, daughter of the late Philip H. & Ruth E. Waite Freligh.  She was the wife of Timothy M. DeSalle, with whom she celebrated 35 years of marriage on July 11th. She was a member of Pequea Baptist Church of Gap.   She graduated from Octorara High School class of 1977 and Brandywine School of Nursing.   She worked as a LPN at Harrison House, Countyline Medical Center and Twin Pines Nursing Center.  Phyllis enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading, photography, jigsaw puzzles, her pets and most of all she loved spending time with her family.  Surviving besides her husband are 2 sons:  Marc R. Freligh of Wernersville, PA, Brad J. husband of Shannon Moore Freligh of St. Marys, Georgia, granddaughter Morgan E. Freligh, 5 siblings:  Linda C. Armour of Cochranville, Debra A. wife of Joseph Wentz of Atglen, Donna L. wife of Jason Harrison of Christiana, Timothy L. Freligh of Cochranville, nieces and nephews: Brian husband of Megan Armour of Lancaster, Nora & Joshua Wentz of Atglen, Stacy wife of Bruce Smith of West Grove, Roger Jr. husband of Jill Palmer of Parkesburg, 6 great nephews and 4 great nieces also survive.  Preceded in death by a nephew Shawn Armour.  A private family service took place at Shivery Funeral Home of Christiana.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to www.braveeli.com .
