Phyllis Ruth Chretien

Phyllis Ruth (Scott) Chretien of Lancaster passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025. She was born in Lancaster, daughter of John H. Scott and Marion R. (Patton) Scott. She was the beloved wife of Christian F. Chretien for 51 years. In addition to her husband, she has survived by a sister Valerie S. Scott of Lancaster and two sons: C. Scott Chretien of Lancaster and C. Steven Chretien (Lindsey) of Lancaster and their daughter, Harper. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews. Phyllis was a hairstylist for 10 years and an in-home child caregiver for 30 years. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Paradise for 70 years.

A graveside service will be held at St. John's United Methodist Cemetery, 3001 Lincoln Hwy East, Gordonville, PA 17562, on Friday, April 4th at 2pm. Rev. Gene Ericksson will be officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to tunnel to tower, 2361 Hyland Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
