Pete R. McGrane

Pete R. McGrane, age 87 of Gap, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026. He was the husband of Sandy Brown McGrane, with whom he celebrated 46 of marriage on March 14th. He was born in Philadelphia, son of the late Francis T. & Ruth M. Solomon McGrane. In the past he had worked at the former Cochranville Block Plant and then at J.D. Eckman of Atglen for 34 years. He enjoyed modified racing, camping and tinkering in his garage. Surviving besides his wife are 3 children; Raymond F. McGrane, Howard, husband of Penny Brown of Christiana and Dawn Murtagh of Morgantown, 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a brother; Thomas M. husband of Lori Diem McGrane of Gap. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard L. McGane and a sister, Jean M. Groff.
