Penny L. Garris, age 71 of Christiana, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.  She was the wife of Michael W. Garris with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage on February 15th.  She was born in Coatesville, PA, daughter of the late George & Helen J. Moore Morrison.  In the past she was a member of the Penningtonville Presbyterian Church of Atglen.  She graduated from Octorara High School class of 1972.  Penny worked as a cook for 36 years at the Octorara School District.  She loved camping and fishing.  Surviving besides her husband are 2 daughters: Kelly Garris at home, Melissa Garris of Morgantown, 4 grandchildren: Ronnie III, Noelle, Nicole and Sara, 4 siblings:  Barbara J. wife of Robert Johnson of Willow Street, Robert Lee wife of Debra Pickel Morrison of Willow Street, Shirley Ann Boyd of West Chester, Donald Morrison of Christiana.  She was preceded in death by a sister Patricia K. Griffis.

A graveside service will take place at the Atglen Methodist Cemetery, 332 Chester Street, Atglen, PA on Tuesday, December 2nd at 2 p.m.
