Pauline R. Blantz

Pauline R. Blantz, age 85, of Leola passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Neffsville Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lancaster. She was the wife of the late Walter G. Blantz Jr. Born in Mt Pleasant, she was the daughter of the late Laurence and Elizabeth Weaver Brown. She worked for ACME and Pepperidge Farm Warehouses but her greatest job was raising her 5 children. Pauline enjoyed trips to the beach, playing cards (her favorite game was Rummy), and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her 5 children: Douglas Blantz of Leola, Clifford (Lori) Blantz of Strasburg, Gary (Rose) Blantz of Leola, Darryl Blantz of Quarryville, Lisa (Robert) Fisher of Lancaster, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 6 siblings: Betty Jo, Janet, Nancy, Jean, Caroline, and Rusty. Pauline is preceded in death by a brother, Chester and 3 sisters: Hazel, Shirley and Doris.

A funeral service will take place at Crossing Jordan, 7 Wesley Rd Quarryville, PA 17566 on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 3 p.m. with a viewing from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Pastor Blake Deibler will be officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dementia Society of America. dementiasociety.org
