Whaley, Jr.
August 6, 1941 – May 3, 2025
Paul H Whaley, Jr., age 83 of Gordonville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 3, 2025. He was the husband of Lynda Snyder Whaley, with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage on November 11th. He was born in Chester, PA to the late Paul H. Whaley, Sr. and Ruth Bagnall Whaley Watson. He graduated from Media High School and Browns VoTech. An electrician all his life, Paul started by serving his apprenticeship at Dupont Experimental Station. In 1986 he founded his own company PHW Associates, Inc. where he worked until his retirement in 2006. He loved doing electrical work and was very good at what he did. Paul was also an avid bird hunter and loved fly fishing. He especially enjoyed sharing these passions with his son, grandson and Brittany Spaniels. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Most importantly, Paul lived to serve his Lord. He attended Faith Bible Chapel, Solanco Bible Church and Calvary Monument Bible Church. Besides his wife, Paul is survived by his daughter Kimberly Bond of Gordonville, wife of the late David Bond; two grandchildren: Nathan Bond and his wife Heather Bond of Ephrata, Morgan Swarner and her husband Connor Swarner of Holtwood; two great grandchildren: Wesley David and Lacey Ann Bond; sister Lynne Kettering and her husband Ron Kettering of Leola; and one niece Kerry and two nephews Phillip and Paul. He was preceded in death by his son Paul "Skip" Whaley, III.
