Paul H. "Skip" Whaley, III, age 58, of Quarryville, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025.   He was born in Wilmington, DE, son of Paul H. Jr. & Lynda Snyder Whaley of Gordonville.  He graduated from Octorara High School class of 1984.  He proudly served as the Facilities Manager for J.D. Eckman Inc. of Atglen.  Skip enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.  Skip was a true handyman and enjoyed helping others.  Surviving besides his parents is a daughter, Morgan P. wife of Connor L. Swarner of Holtwood, daughter of Jeanne Hutton wife of Doug Hutton and Connor's brother Austin husband of Bryanna Swarner, a sister, Kimberly J. Bond of Gordonville, nephew, Nathan husband of Heather Bond of Ephrata and great nephew, Wesley Bond and his companion Kimberly Spangler. He was preceded in death by a brother in law David Bond and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A celebration of life service will take place from the Reynolds & Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA, on Saturday, February 1st at 11 a.m.  There will be a time to greet the family at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.   He was a simple man and would have wanted those coming to wear casual attire.  Skip gave in death as he gave in life; Skip was an organ donor.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to CORE (Center for Organ Recovery Education), 204 Sigma Drive Pittsburgh, PA 15238.   As Skip would say "Be the job big or small, do it right or not at all".
