Paul J. Gast

Paul J. Gast, 88, of New Providence PA, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017.He was the husband of Doris L. Brubaker Gast.They had celebrated 68 years of marriage.
Paul had worked in mechanical maintenance, retiring in 1991 after 25 years with the former Alumax, Lancaster, PA.
A member of Pequea Valley Sportsman Club, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.Paul will always be remembered as a soft spoken man, and "one of a kind".
Born in Lancaster PA, a son of the late Earl and Mary Arnold Gast.
He is survived by his wife Doris, 2 children, Bonnie Sue (Stephen) Hayford, Holtwood, Paul Gast, Jr., New Providence, grandchildren, Chasidy DuBree, Ryan Gast, and 2 great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services at Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PAon Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 11:00 AM.Viewing will be held on Thursday from 10-11:00 AM.Interment will be in the Bethesda United Methodist Cemetery.www.reynoldsfuneralhome.net.
