Paul S. Beiler

Paul S. Beiler, age 88, passed away at Fairmount Homes on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.  He was the husband of Elsie L. Smoker Beiler, celebrating 65 years of marriage on September 24th of last year.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Reuben R. and Emma Stoltzfus Beiler.  Paul was a member of Timberline Church.  He enjoyed hunting, working in his garden, and helping with maintenance at the churches he attended. He also was a faithful volunteer for the Bart Township Fire Company for many years. In his retirement, he loved to bake chocolate chip cookies for which he became well known.  In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by 4 daughters: Rosalind J. Beiler of Orlando, FL, Christine R. wife of Chris King of Paradise, Lisa Y. wife of Marlin Nafziger of Quarryville, Sara Lynn Rae Keesic of Leola, 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and a sister Ruth Martin of Pine Falls, Manitoba, Canada.  He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph P. Beiler, late husband of Heatherlynn Beiler of Henrico, VA, and 3 siblings: Naomi Beiler, Leroy Beiler, Marie Zook.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 1 at 3 p.m. at Chestnut Church, 742 S. Vintage Road, Christiana, with a greeting time from 2 p.m. until time of service.  Private traditional interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery prior to the greeting time.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Paul's memory to Timberline Church, 30 Timber Lane, Strasburg, PA 17579.
