Otley W. Jackson

Otley W. Jackson, age 79, of Jennersville, formerly of Christiana, passed away at the Twin Pines Health Care Center of West Grove, on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. He was born in Lancaster, son of the late Brinton W. & Edna Walton Jackson. He attended Latta Memorial Presbyterian Church of Christiana. He graduated from Octorara High School, class of 1961 and Kutztown State College in 1981, with a B.A. in Art. He enjoyed baseball, country music, vintage cars, playing trombone and snowmobiling. He was a well known area artist specializing in pen and ink, of many local building and scenes and also watercolor. He is survived by two children: Brinton D. Jackson of Abu Dhabi, UAE, Beth A. wife of Shawn McSherry of Lebanon, grandson Callen McSherry, two sisters: his twin Ida Sue Jackson and Mary Ann "Pink" Jackson, both of Kennett Square.

A graveside service will take place at the Sadsbury Friends Burial Grounds, 1089 Simmontown Road, Gap, PA, on Friday May 5th at 2 p.m. Pastor Tracy Brown will be officiating.
