Norma Iris Vega Rosario

Norma Iris Vega Rosario, age 54 of Coatesville, went home to be with her beloved Savior on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 while at the home of her daughter. She was married to Angel Villafane for 38 years. She was born on November 19, 1965 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, the middle of three children of Joaquin Vega Diaz of Coatesville and the late Carmen Gloria Rosario Diaz. She attended elementary school in Sabana Hoyos, Puerto Rico and high school in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. She was very friendly and she liked to play baseball at school and playing cops and robbers as a child. She loved Jesus and showed Christ's love to everyone. She treated everyone like they were her own children. Cooking, family gatherings, camping, and family vacations with her kids and grandkids were her joy. She loved her church and the preaching of God's Word. In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by 3 children: Norangely Villafane-Vega, Yomayraliz Villafane-Vega, both of Coatesville, Jonathan Villafane-Vega of Gap, 9 grandchildren, and 2 siblings: Marilu Vega Rosario and Carlos Vega Rosario. An outdoor funeral will be held on Monday, September 7 at 11 a.m. at Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street, Christiana, with Pastors Jose (Lizbeth) Rabelo and Dennis (Josephine Alvarez) Olivencia officiating. You may wish to bring your own chairs. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville. There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 10 am until time of service.
