Norma J. Shenberger

Norma J. Shenberger, age 78, formerly of Strasburg, died on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Oak Leaf Manor, Millersville, PA. She was the widow of Paul E. Shenberger who died October 25, 1998.Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Scott and Leah McGuigan Probst.
Norma had previously been employed as a seamstress for Singing Needles for 15 years, and then as a cashier for Stauffer's in Rohrerstown from which she retired.
She was a member of Lampeter United Methodist Church, and enjoyed going to the beach and country music, especially attending the American Music Theatre.
Surviving her are two children, Paul "Pork" married to Jodi Gantz Shenberger of Strasburg, Paula J. Heisler of Willow Street; 4 grandchildren, Brad Heisler, Jason Reese, Samantha Johnston, Marla Shenberger; and two sisters, Margaret Lefever of Strasburg, and Darlene wife of Ellsworth "Butch" Hard of Lancaster.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Oak Leaf Manor South and Asera Care Hospice for the compassionate care that was extended to their mother.
Funeral services will be held at Lampeter United Methodist Church, 1101 Village Road, Lancaster, PA on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00AM with Rev. Blaine Wenger officiating.Interment will follow in Strasburg Mennonite Cemetery.A viewing will be held from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church.Arrangements entrusted to Murray A.
