Nancy Pittman, age 59 of Christiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2025.  An area resident her entire life, Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  Leaving behind a legacy of hard work, unwavering love and cherished memories.

For 33 years she shared her life with her best friend and beloved husband Thomas Baker.    She was the loving mother to two  daughters: Christine wife of Richard Legree, Jr. of Christiana, Deanna Baker fiancee of Matthew Stevens of Downingtown, and the fun Mom-Mom to Phillip, Aaliyah, Adalynn  and Tommy.  Whom she loved unconditionally.  Also surviving are 3 sisters: Susan K. Gregg of Coatesville, Karen Romero companion of Bradley Hall of Christiana, Kristal wife of Doug Peters of Quarryville and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents  Marvin Pittman & Mary J. Bubb Pittman, her brother Mark D. Pittman and a great grandchild

She graduated from Octorara High School class of 1983.  Nancy was a dedicated member of the Christiana American Legion post #865, since the age of 21. When Nancy was not working, she enjoyed family gatherings and traditions such as Thanksgiving dinners, Memorial Day picnics, family vacations to Kneobels and trips to Disney World.  Her passions for the holidays was evident in the beautiful Christmas wreaths she created each Christmas Season.

A graveside service will take place at Sadsbury Friends Burial Ground, 1089 Simmontown Road, Gap, on Friday, June 13th at 6 p.m.
