Mildred V. Reynolds

Mildred V. Reynolds, 91, of Quarryville, PA, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017, at Lancashire Hall, Lancaster.She was the wife of Marvin R. Reynolds who passed away in 2002.
Mildred was a registered nurse, graduating from St Joseph's School of Nursing in 1946.She began her career as a Red Cross Nurse in Atlanta, Georgia following WWII.She then moved back to Lancaster where she retired from the former St Joseph's Hospital.Mildred then continued her career as the head nurse at Lincoln University.
She enjoyed knitting and cross word puzzles.She was always active in her churches, Little Britain Presbyterian, and Lord's House of Prayer.
Born in Lancaster PA, a daughter of the late Arthur J. and Mary E. Patterson Shoemaker.
She is survived by 3 children; Sharon Reynolds, Willow Street, M. Wayne Reynolds, Holtwood, Mary Kay Carrigan, Quarryville, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.She was predeceased by 3 siblings; Clyde Shoemaker, Harold Shoemaker, and Charlotte Huber.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services at Little Britain Presbyterian Church, 255 Little Britain Church Road, Peach Bottom on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at 2:00 PM. Viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM.
