Mildred H. Rhoads Overly, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary McCauley Rhoads. Mildred was the wife of William E. Overly. They were married 68 years before he passed away on July 31, 2019. Mildred worked for Hubley's as an assembly line worker. After she retired she continued to work part time at Mussers in the deli. She enjoyed canning, gardening and she loved to host family gatherings where she would cook for everyone. Mildred and William lived a simple life and wherever their family was is where they were happy to be. Mildred is survived by 2 children; Henry C. Husband of Patricia Overly of Lancaster and Janet L. wife of David Weaver of Peach Bottom, 5 grandchildren; Michael, Scott, Elizabeth, Ashleigh, Katie and 3 great-grandchildren. Mildred is preceded in death by a son; Roy E husband of Kim Overly, 3 sisters; Erma, Jean, and Esther mother of Jeff Roland.
