Michael T. Reese

Michael T. Reese, 53, of Willow Street, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his home August 23, 2018.
Mike was the husband of Susan M. Herman Reese.They had celebrated 28 years of marriage.Michael was born in Lancaster, PA, a son of the late Elmer P. and LoAnne Wallick Reese.
Mike had spent 39 years actively participating in Fire Service and Emergency Medical Service.Starting his career at the Bausman Fire Company, then as a life member with Willow Street Fire Co., and Ambulance, where he was currently serving as Fire Chief.He was also a life member of Lampeter Fire Co and East Lampeter Twp. Ambulance Assoc. Mike was a member of Lancaster Co, Fireman's Assoc.Mike really enjoyed watching baseball and college football, and spending time with his family dogs.
During his career in emergency services, Mike had worked for West End Ambulance Assoc., Lancaster General Hospital ER Department, and most recently for Lancaster County Wide Communications where he served as an assistant supervisor and a 911 dispatcher.
In addition to his wife Susan, Mike is survived by a brother, David Reese (Kamala), Willow Street, nieces and nephews, Ashley, Samantha, Kyle, Haley, and a great nephew Hunter.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, August 30, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Willow Street United Church of Christ, 2723 Willow Street Pike North, Willow Street, PA with Pastor Ron Bohannon officiating.A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:30 PM. at the Willow Street Fire Station, 2901 Willow Street Pike North, Willow Street, PA, and on Thursday at the church from 10-11:00 AM.Burial will be in the Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery.
