Michael L. Cunningham, age 58, of Christiana, PA, passed away at his home on Monday, June 26, 2023.  He was the husband of Michele L. Buchanan Cunningham, with whom he celebrated 15 years of marriage on June 14th.  He was born in West Chester, son of Michael Ralph Cunningham of West Chester and the late Patricia Smith Cunningham. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He worked in law enforcement for 19 years retiring from the Downingtown Police Department. He graduated from Henderson High School class of 1983.    He enjoyed restoring tractors, woodworking, camping and making memories with his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife and father are 4 children:  Michael Andrew husband of Rachel of Middleville, MI, David husband of Amber of York, Katelyn wife of Justin of Nanty Glo, PA, Heather of Christiana, 6 grandchildren:  Soph, Bell, Spencer, Jackson, Junior, Ashton, 2 brothers: Wade husband of Megan and Greg husband of Donna both of Parkesburg.

A  memorial service will take place at Chantry Place, 15 North Bridge Street, Christiana, PA on Saturday, July 8th at 11 a.m., with a casual time of sharing beginning at 11 a.m.  There will be a time to greet the family from 10 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Disabled American Veteran's.
