Menno B. Stoltzfus

Menno B. Stoltzfus, age 93 of Narvon, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Hospice and Community Care of Mount Joy.  He was the loving husband of Katie Fisher Stoltzfus for 58 years before her passing on November 2, 2009.  Born in Gordonville, he was the son of the late Benjamin B. and Annie Beiler Stoltzfus.  Menno was a member of Honey Brook Community Church.  He founded and operated Stoltzfus Sausages at the New Castle Farmers Market.  He was a lifelong member of Gideons International and volunteered at Camp Andrews where he often put together a woodworking activity.  In his free time, Menno loved hunting, fishing, woodworking and going to Florida in the winter.  Surviving are 6 children; Verna, wife of Clair Acker of Narvon, Ann, wife of the late Ed Lapp of Strasburg, Amos, husband of Lise Patterson Stoltzfus of Wilmington, DE, Caroline, wife of Vincent Fry of Ephrata, Wayne, husband of Karen Yost Stoltzfus of Narvon, Glenn, husband of Luli Alarcon Stoltzfus of Gap, 23 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren that he prayed for daily, and 2 brothers; Daniel, husband of Ruth Stoltzfus of Sarasota, FL, and Benjamin, husband of Ruth Stoltzfus of Ephrata.  He was preceded in death by 6 siblings; Naomi Beiler, Mary Lapp, Rebecca Stoltzfus, Fannie Stoltzfus, Sarah Kauffman and Amos Stoltzfus.  A funeral service will take place at Honey Brook Community Church, 3940 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook, on Wednesday, November 12th at 11 a.m. with a viewing time from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  There will also be a viewing at the church on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Service will be live streamed on the Honey Brook Community Church YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@honeybrookchurch9948/streams. Interment will be in the Pequea Amish Mennonite Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Menno's honor to Gideons International, P.O. Box 163, Strasburg, PA 17579.
