Mckayla Brianna Dodson-Kehoe

McKayla Brianna Dodson-Kehoe passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family & loved ones on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of Edward R. Dodson, Sr. & Diana Gestewitz. McKayla also had a bonus dad, Richard M. Minnick aka "Daddy Rich" & bonus mom, Delissa Dodson aka "Ma". She was engaged to Malin Hazen.

McKayla was a loving friend & would do anything for anyone in need. She had a free spirit/stubborn & would go/flow with the wind, to enable to find happiness. She enjoyed sunflowers, reading, cooking, singing, & napping. Most of all, McKayla enjoyed spending time with her daughter & family. She was employed in customer service jobs to enable her heart's pursuit to be kind/help others. McKayla had multiple friends whom she considered close family, that she was able to help them in their time of need & never asked for anything in return, cause as she learned... a smile was payment enough.

As well as her parents & fiance', McKayla is survived by her beautiful daughters: Leia & Anika. Her brothers: Kyle, Edward Jr., & Allan; Her maternal grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Glenn Gestewitz; Her paternal grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Tackett. She had bonus siblings: Tye, Denaye, & Cole Weaver, also Kaylee Kreider. Also she had numerous nieces & nephews that she adored & loved her. Preceding her in death was her sister, Ashley N. Dodson & her godson, Dalton Meadows.

The family will be doing a "Celebration of Life" service in the future. The family also would like to thank Shivery Funeral Home & Hospice of Dauphin & Wayne county, for caring for our daughter in the last few months.
