Matthew Ray Decker

Matthew Ray Decker, age 29 of Pequea, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at his home.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Shana and Jason Hoffmaster.  Matt graduated from Penn Manor High School in '09 where he loved being a part of the Rocket Club.  He worked for E M Herr Farm & Home Center as a forklift operator.  In his free time, he loved anything to do with rockets and playing video games.  Surviving besides his parents are grandparents: John Wiker of Conestoga, Georgeann Gable of Pequea, Jimmy husband of Daryl Hoffmaster of Lebanon, and Fairabee Carol Hoffmaster of Manheim, 4 siblings: Ashley, Jeremy, Joseph, and Samantha Hoffmaster, all at home.  Funeral Service will take place from Reynolds & Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, on Wednesday, October 7th at 7 p.m. with a greeting time from 6 p.m. until the time of service.  Pastor Blake Deibler will be officiating.  Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family in the Colemanville United Methodist Cemetery.
