Matthew Arnold Davis, age 26 of Cochranville, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and despite facing cerebral palsy and schizencephaly from birth, Matthew's indomitable spirit radiated joy and love for life.

Matthew was a beloved member of the Beulah Baptist Church of Oxford community. His love for music, singing, and favorite television shows like Barney & Friends and Sesame Street brought him immense happiness. He cherished moments riding in the golf cart with his dad and the gator with his Pop. Anything with a steering wheel brought him joy, and he especially loved sharing Starbucks and back rubs with his mom on their deck. His favorite times were spent with his Grandma, listening as she read books to him.

Though limited in verbal communication, Matthew spoke volumes through his hugs, kisses, and thumbs up, touching the lives of all who knew him.

Matthew is survived by his loving parents, Arnold and Pamela Gall Davis, as well as his two brothers: John, husband of Kassi Granville Houston of Texas, and Christopher Houston of Maryland. He also leaves behind his paternal grandparents Larry M. and Naomi Myer Davis of Cochranville, his niece, Hailey, and nephews, Ragan and Maverick. Matthew was preceded in death by his sister, Jessica Marie "Jessie" Davis, maternal grandparents Judy Graham and Ronald Gall, uncle Kenneth Gall, and uncle Michael Davis.

A private graveside service will be held at the Beulah Baptist Cemetery to honor Matthew's life. The Davis family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care, and to Grandma and Pop for their unwavering love and support.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or to A.I. DuPont Hospital in Matthew's memory.
