Mary K. Zook

Mary K. Zook, 99, formerly of Willow Valley Drive and Lampeter Road, Lancaster, died Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Mennonite Home.
She was the wife of the late Morgan B. Zook.Born in Martic Township, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Lillie Jessie Bortzfield Funk.
Mary was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg where she served as a deacon and was a member of Martha Circle.
A homemaker, she was an avid gardener, and enjoyed raising zinnias.
Mary is survived by a sister, Pauline M. Brakefield of Pequea; 1 niece; and seven nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Richard B. Funk and a sister Helen M. Duty.
Traditional interment will be held in Colemanville United Methodist Cemetery, 210 Colemanville Church Road, Conestoga, PA on Friday at 9:30AM. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg, 101 South Decatur Street, Strasburg, PA on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:00AM with Rev. Robert K. Bronkema officiating. An informal visitation will be held following the service at the church.
