Mary E. Schnell

Mary E. Schnell, 100, of Ryder Avenue, Lancaster, PA and formerly of New Providence, PA died Friday, February 9, 2018 at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy. She was the wife of John C. Schnell.Born in Providence Township, she was the daughter of the late Roy C. and Lizzie Brubaker Wade.
Mary had been employed as a seamstress for 34 years by Tidikin's Products in Quarryville and was a member of the Garment Workers Union.
She attended New Providence Church of God.
Surviving beside her husband John are 3 children, Shelby J. Royer of Lancaster, John G. (Jo Ann) Hart of Lancaster, Ronald W. Hart of New Providence; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; 5 siblings, Alice Graybille, Isabel Bingaman, Mildred Cayton, Harold Wade, and Thelma Stauffer. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Richard and Harry wade.
Funeral services will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 11:00AM with Pastor Dwight Lefever officiating.
