Mary Virginia Mackey

Mary Virginia Mackey, age 89 of New Providence, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at her home.  She was the loving wife of the late Charles R. "Pete" Mackey for 41 years before his passing on December 13, 1997.  Born in Little Britain, she was the daughter of the late George Steward and Frances Carrigan.  In her free time she loved doing word searches, watching game shows, flower gardening and baking.  She is survived by 4 children; Rodney, husband of Cindy McMinn Mackey of Salunga, Donna Sigman of Willow Street, Wanda Myers of East Lampeter, Clyde, husband of Barbara Sylvan Mackey of Lititz, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-granddaughters.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Carrigan.

A viewing and visitation will take place at Reynolds & Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, on Monday, February 24th from 6 to 7 p.m.
