Mary E. Kipphorn

Mary E. Kipphorn, age 82 formally of Holtwood, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Evergreen Estates. She was the wife of the late Harold A. Kipphorn Sr. who passed on June 29, 2013. Mary was an active member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She enjoyed birdwatching, especially hummingbirds, family gatherings, her grand puppies, and most of all she loved her family. She is survived by 2 children: Donna wife of Jim Hicks of Willow Street, Harold A. Jr. "Butch" Kipphorn companion of Heather Wolf of Holtwood, 2 granddaughters: Kym Kipphorn and Brandy Kipphorn both of Holtwood. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Findley and 3 brothers: Roy, Dale, Glenn Smeltz.

Funeral service will take place from Bethesda United Methodist Church, 1086 Hilldale Rd, Holtwood, PA 17532, on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. with a viewing from 10 a.m. until time of service. Reverend Chandler Evans will be officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary's honor to Grane Hospice, 1010 Plymouth Road, Suite D, York, PA 17402, or to Bethesda U.M.C. Cemetery fund.
