Mary Louise Garbrick

Mary Louise Garbrick, 97, formerly of Denlinger Avenue, Strasburg, PA died Friday, September 21, 2018 at Arbor View at Willow Valley. She was the widow of Edward D. Garbrick who died in April 1988.Born in Strasburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Lizzie Agon Pugh Long.
Mary retired from Bank of Lancaster County in 1986, after 30 years of service as a Deputy Comptroller.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg, the Strasburg Senior Citizens, and the Paul R. Strubel Post #8710, Ladies Auxiliary.
An avid bowler, Mary bowled for various Strasburg Bowling Leagues.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Beth wife of Harry F. Echternach of Punta Gorda, FL; 2 grandsons, Jason (Elizabeth) Echternach and Sam (Nadine) Echternach; and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Private services will be held at Strasburg Cemetery.
