Martha M. Waltman, 96, formerly of Millersville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Juniper Village, Mt. Joy, PA.
Martha was the widow of Glenn K. Waltman. She was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Carrie E. Brown Murry.
She was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Mt. Joy, PA.Her hobbies included quilting and all kinds of needlepoint.
Martha worked as a civilian for the US Navy during WWII, manufacturing ammunition shells. Following the war she was employed as a production worker for both the former Armstrong Cork Company and former Kerr Glass Company for 35 years, retiring in 1980.
Martha is survived by a sister, Elizabeth M. Armstrong of Mt. Joy; a sister in law Jeannine L. Murry of Mt. Nebo; nieces, Joy E. Yost of Mary Esther, FL, Linda A. Shaub of Willow Street, Joanne E. Kilby of Conestoga; nephews, C. Barry Murry of Lancaster, Richard C. Murry of Conestoga; numerous grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Clyde B. Murry, Charles F. Murry and a sister Freeda B. Murry.
Funeral services will be held at Calvary Bible Church, 629 Union School Road, Mt. Joy, PA on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 11:00AM with Rev. Richard J. Hurlbert officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Nebo United Methodist Cemetery. A viewing will be at the church from 10:00AM until the time of service.
