Martha Jane Hershey, age 65 of Ronks, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Lancaster General Hospital after a 14 year illness.  She was the loving wife of Dale Hershey for 41 years.  Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Clair and Ruth Breneman White.  She attended Gracepoint Church in Paradise and served as a Sunday school teacher before her illness.  In her free time she loved cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.  Surviving besides her husband Dale are 3 children; Cheryl, wife of Pat Belancourt of OH, Neal Hershey of Ronks, Keith, husband of Rachel Hershey of Ronks, 2 grandchildren, Katherine and Matthew Belancourt, and 3 siblings; Ruthie, wife of Magdy Mikhail of Bear, DE, Dan, husband of Sarah White of Millersville, John, husband of Marcia White of Ephrata.   She was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Smith.

A memorial service will take place at Grace Point Church, 10 South Singer Ave, Paradise, on Friday, April 10th at 11 a.m. with a visitation time from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  Pastor Joel Buffington will be officiating.  There will also be a visitation time at the church on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be held privately before the service in the Paradise Mennonite Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Martha's honor to The Urban Alternative, P.O.
