Maria Theresa Frey

Maria Theresa Frey, 73, of Petersburg, VA formerly of Quarryville, PA, died Sunday, November 12, 2017, following a long battle with cancer.Ms. Frey was a daughter of the late Fred and Anna Huber Frey.
She graduated from Solanco High School in 1962. While in high school she participated in tennis, field hockey, student council, dance club, and the marching band. She was also a class officer, a member of the varsity club, the prom committee, and the sweetheart and harvest queen courts. She was also active in 4-H and exhibited a grand champion Angus steer.
Following graduation, she moved to Washington D.C. and lived in Virginia until her death.
Ms. Frey is survived by four brothers, Fred Frey, Adolf "Pete" Frey, and William "Willie" Frey, all of Quarryville and John Frey of New Jersey; two sisters, Anita Barthelson of Lewes, DE and Anna Magdalena Luckerath of Malibu, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Siegfried Frey and Ernest Frey.
