Marcia J. Suter

Marcia J. Suter, age 71, of Lancaster, PA, passed away at Newport Meadows of Christiana, on Saturday, February 15, 2025.  She was the wife of Terry L. Suter, with whom she celebrated 49 years of marriage on December 30th.  She was born in Manheim, daughter of the late Elam & Marion Landis Adair.  She graduated from Manheim Central High School and Willow Street Vo-Tech, with a LPN degree.  She started her nursing career at the former St. Joseph Hospital of Lancaster, then working at Willow Valley and retiring in 2018 after 15 years from Hospice & Community Care.  She was a Pittsburgh Steeler and Phillies fan, loved reading, flower gardening, going to Ocean City, NJ, spending time with family and friends and her dog Keisel.  Surviving  besides her husband are 2 children: Jason Suter of Lancaster, Jessica Suter wife of Nick Roberts of Coatesville, brother Mike husband of Laurie Adair of Manheim.

A memorial service will take place from the Reynolds & Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA, on Friday, February 21st, at 11 a.m. with a time to greet the family from 10 a.m. until time of service.
