M. Blanche Greer

M. Blanche Greer, age 95 of Little Britain entered into rest on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Martin Greer who passed away in 1986. She was born in Mt. City, TN, daughter of the late David M. and Effie Jones Payne. She was preceded in death by 6 siblings. She is survived by her son, Martin Greer of Quarryville, a daughter, Betty Janney companion of Lee Davis of Northeast, MD, daughter in law Gwen Greer of Quarryville, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She retired from Conestoga View nursing home where she was an LPN for 25 years. She enjoyed visits and spending time with her beloved family and friends, crocheting, gardening and was a life long member of Wrightsdale Baptist Church.

Funeral service will take place from Wrightsdale Baptist Church, 310 Little Britain Road, Peach Bottom, PA 17563, on Tuesday, March 8th at 11 am. There will be a viewing from 10 am until time of service. Pastor Ryan Day will be officiating. Private family interment will take place following the service in Little Britain Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Wrightsdale Baptist Church, 310 Little Britain Road, Peach Bottom, PA 17563.
