Luther B. Kistler

Luther B. Kistler Jr, known to his friends as "Red", 79, of Quarryville PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.He was the husband of Esther Herman Kistler who he celebrated 60 years of marriage to in Feb. 2018.
He was born in Lancaster PA, a son of the late Luther B. and Mildred V. Watson Kistler, Sr.
Luther had worked as carpenter most of his life and retired from Poole Construction as a superintendent.He was a member of the Commercial Travelers Club and enjoyed horse racing. He was able to relive his younger years riding his Harley before cancer took his health from him. Continually active in his life, Red was always willing to lend a hand to family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 children, Desiera Elliott, Millersville, Debra Hess, Quarryville, Daniel Kistler, Conestoga, 5 grandchildren,(Troy Probst, Katelin Enck, Ashley Elliott, Brittany Kistler, Austin Kistler,and 1 great grandchild (Chase Melton). Red's wishes were to be cremated and buried with his wife when they are together again.
