Lloyd E. Kreider, age 88 met his Lord and Savior face to face, August 12, 2024.  He was the loving husband of Joyce A. Horst Kreider with whom he celebrated 68 years of marriage on May 5th.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Elmer R. & Verna Eby Kreider.  Lloyd attended Calvary.  He loved the Lord and His church and served in many ways in different churches throughout his life.  He was a 1953 graduate of Lancaster Mennonite School.  In his early years he worked as a dairy farmer, and later became a dealer for Badger Farm and BouMatic Milking Equipment and then a driver of Executive Coach for 17 years.    Lloyd was a great sportsman and enjoyed hunting, tennis, golf and the Phillies.  Surviving in addition to his wife are 4 children; Karen, wife of Ken Stoltzfus of Gordonville, Dottie, wife of Dan Toronchuk of Lynden, WA, Debbie, wife of Brian Yoder of Gordonville, and Gerald, husband of Audrey Oberholtzer Kreider of Columbia, PA, 14 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Kreider, and 2 siblings; Blanch, late wife of the late John Gingrich and John E., late husband of the late Betty Book Kreider.

A memorial service will take place at the Landis Homes West Bethany Chapel, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, on Thursday, August 22nd at 2 p.m. with a time to greet the family following the service.  A private interment will take place before the service in the Maple Grove Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lloyd's honor to Mennonite Disaster Service, 583 Airport Road, Lititz, PA 17543.
