Linden D. Bowman

Linden D. Bowman, age 61, of Gordonville, formerly of Ashtabula, OH, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020, due to complications from Covid-19.  He was the husband of Mary E. "Maribeth" Dysert Bowman with whom he celebrated 42 years of marriage on April 8th.  He was born in Odessa, TX, son of the late Linden J. & Darlene Bott Bowman.  He attended the Community Bible Church of Gordonville.  He retired from the US Air Force after 20 years of service.  After retirement he graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a THM Degree.  Lin then served in ministry for 12 years.  Moving to the Lancaster County area he worked at Sight & Sound Theatres of Ronks, PA.  Lin enjoyed woodworking, tinkering, going to the shooting range and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.  Surviving besides his wife are 2 children:  April wife of Travis Druck of Garland, TX, Adam husband of Katie Walter Bowman of Wylie, TX, 7 grandchildren, 4 siblings:  Linda wife of Mark Wood of California, Debbie wife of Richard Heath of Conneaut, OH, Dennis husband of Tammy Carpenter Bowman of Conneaut, OH, Chris husband of Karen Vencil Bowman of Kingsville, OH.  Due to current conditions a service for Lin will take place at a later date. shiveryfuneralhome.com
