Linda Lou Herr

Linda Lou Herr, 67, of Overhill Drive, Lancaster, PA died Monday, January 9, 2017 at her residence following a two year battle with cancer. She and her husband Donald H. Herr were married 31 years.Born in Elkhart, IN, she was the daughter of the late Ansel Lee and Fern Della Barkey Henderson.
A homemaker, Linda volunteered at Ten Thousand Villages.She thoroughly loved her children and grandchildren and was an avid lover of music. She sang with the "Table Singers" a traveling singing group.She and Don also enjoyed traveling, both in the U.S. and abroad.
Surviving beside her husband Don are two sons, Jeromy J. Bronstetter of Strasburg, Aaron A. (Melissa) Bronstetter of Mt. Joy; 2 grandchildren, Damon (Eliza) Bronstetter, Jared Bronstetter;3 step children, Angela Jo (Wade) Stanley of Willow Street, Eric D. (Melissa) Herr of Lancaster, Jason H. (Jennifer) Herr of Leola; 8 step grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; 5 siblings, Doreen (Marv) Davis, Brian (Susan) Henderson, Eric (Marilyn) Henderson, Marsha (Donald) Creekmore, and Greg Henderson.
Linda was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Bronstetter.
Funeral services will be held at Strasburg Mennonite Church, 1514 Village Road, Strasburg, PA on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10:00AM with Pastor John Meck officiating.Interment will be in Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery.
