Lillian L. Fletcher

Lillian L. Fletcher, age 88, passed away at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. She was the wife of the late Thornton L. "T.L." Fletcher, who passed away on February 27, 2013. She was born in Spotsylvania, VA, daughter of the late Lawrence & Lillian Mae Sullivan Hicks. She was a founding member of the Belmont Baptist Church, where in the past she was a Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed fishing, flowers, birds, gardening, crocheting, sewing, crafts, cooking and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are 4 children: Sandra wife of Edwin Grubbs of Pfafftown, NC, Deborah wife of Donald Stoltzfus of Christiana, PA, Paul husband of Sherri Fletcher of Unionville, VA, Greg husband of Brenda Fletcher of Spotsylvania, VA, 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, 4 brothers: William Hicks of Spotsylvania, VA, Ray Hicks of Chicago, IL, Milton "Pete" husband of Ruby Hicks of Rhoadesville, VA, Larry husband of Judy Hicks of Las Cruces, NM. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Adra Jesburg and Janice Austin.

A graveside service will take place in the Laurel Hill Memorial Park, 10127 Plank Rd, Spotsylvania, VA 22553, on Monday, October 19th at 10 a.m. A memorial service will follow also on Monday, October 19th at the Belmont Baptist Church, 7221 Belmont Road, Mineral, VA, at 2 p.m.
