Leroy M. Waughtel

Surrounded by loved ones, LeRoy Waughtel, 71, of Willow Street, PA went home to be with our Lord on Monday night, October 14, 2019. He was born in Lancaster, PA in 1948, the son of the late LeRoy and Martha Waughtel.
He was a member of the Willow Street Mennonite Church. He had served as an usher and helped at The Community Closet, sorting donations for them.
He is survived by his 5 children: Laura Sangrey and her husband Gerald, Nancy Hanna and her husband Steve, April Cruz and her husband Isreal, William Waughtel and his wife Stacy, and Jennifer Straining. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren: Cameron, Kara, Jordan, Devon, Bryce, Connor, Joshua, Kayla, Logan, Tyler, Keith, and Mackenzie; one great-grandchild: Cooper; three sisters: Shirley, Dorothy, and Ida; a brother: Edward; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Peggy.
LeRoy loved life. He will always be remembered for his spunk, his jokes, the deals he found… and made, and his crazy adventures. Family was his most precious asset. He left this earth with a heart full of love.
A private memorial service will be held at Willow Street Mennonite Church.
