Leonard W. Woods, 77, of Lancaster, PA, formerly of New Providence, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014, at Lancaster General Hospital.He was the husband of Betty M. Wright Woods.They had celebrated 23 years of marriage.
Leonard had retired from Yellow Freight, Lancaster.He had served proudly in the US Army during the Korean War.
He was born a son of the late Ernest and Annie Lambing Woods.
He is survived by his wife Betty [Wright], of Lancaster, PA, his step daughter Carol Miller of Sinnamahoning, PA, 2 step grandchildren, his brother Edward Woods of Clymer, PA, and sisters:Jean Austin of Indiana, PA, Aileen Godfrey, FL., and Elaine Carrigan of Punxsutawney, PA.
A private graveside service will be held at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Reynolds Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA.
