Kyle D. Hanna, age 25, of Peach Bottom, passed away on June 20, 2026, as the result of a motorcycle accident. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Holly Mendenhall (Brian) Stoltzfus and Douglas (Kelly) Hanna.
Kyle worked as a hardscaper for Landis Landscaping in Ephrata and was weeks away from officially launching his own business, Hanna’s Outdoor Living. He also worked weekends at Pilgrim’s Oak Golf Course in Peach Bottom.
He loved riding his Harley-Davidson. If he wanted to make some noise, he would take his ’67 Chevelle or ’78 Square Body truck out for a ride. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cornhole, spending time with friends and family, and being with his dog, Lady.
Kyle was a man with a heart of gold and a personality that everyone loved. His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the memories he created, and the roads he traveled. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Besides his parents, Kyle is survived by his sister, Madison Hanna (Connor Smith) of Quarryville; grandparents, Sandy Hanna (Danny Keesee) of Rising Sun, Harold “Reds” and Juanita Mendenhall of Cochranville, and Maurice Hanna of Tennessee; great-grandmother, Kathleen Dixon of Cochranville; aunts and uncles, Shelby (Brian) Fisher of New Providence, Kevin (Vicki) Mendenhall of Parkesburg, and Tom (Kelly) Mendenhall of Oxford; and step-siblings, Paige (Jarrett) Welk of Quarryville and Mason Stoltzfus of Quarryville.
A celebration of Kyle’s life will be held at Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren on Thursday, July 2, at 12:00 PM, with a casual greeting time from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be private.
The family would like to invite everyone to dress casually for the service.
