Kristen P. "Tisty" Blackburn, age 51, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of Helen Jenkins Blackburn of Quarryville.  Kristen attended Cochranville United Methodist Church.  She graduated from CDC in Coatesville and worked for more than 20 years at Handi-Crafters in Thorndale. Kristen loved Penn State Football, spending time with her family and all animals, especially her dog Jingles.  Kristen was the kindest, most loving, most forgiving person you'd meet. She made friends wherever she went and loved ALL people.  She was especially close to Mom, who was her best friend and biggest cheerleader. Their favorite activities included watching Penn State football, cheering on Saquon Barkley; watching Little House on the Prairie and spending quality time together going on outings. Surviving along with her mother are 3 siblings; Alisa Pieczynski of Airville, Matthew "Bucky" Blackburn of Philadelphia, Jennifer Mitchell of Christiana, an adopted sister; Sue of Elizabethtown and nieces and nephews, Leanne, Taylah, Noah, Willow, Christopher, Allison and Hailey.  Faith Bible Chapel will be hosting a memorial service at their church, 140 Bernard Ave, Cochranville, on Saturday, April 5th at 1 p.m.  with greeting time after the service. Pastor Scott Althouse will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kristen's honor to the Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 East Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134.
