Kenneth E. Smith

Kenneth E. Smith, 79, of Strasburg PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Lancaster General Hospital.He was the husband of Nancy Rigby Smith.They had celebrated 58 years of marriage.
Ken had retired as a Signalman for the PA Railroad, Penn Central Railroad, and Conrail after 42 years of service.
Born in Seaford DE, a son of the late John and Catherine Bowden Smith.He was a 1956 graduate of Seaford High School.
In addition to his wife Nancy, he is survived by 3 children, Carmen Roth, Palmyra, Candy Friedhofer (Dave), Smithville, Kenneth Smith, II (Terri), Lititz; grandchildren, Justin and Kyrie Friedhofer, Anna Roth, Kenny, III, siblings; Jerry Smith, Seaford, DE,Sandy Madwar (David), Columbus, OH, Cindy Taylor (Jeff), Seaford, DE,; brother-n-laws, Tom Rigby, Toms River, NJ, Jack Rigby (Lucy), Seaford, DE, and his entire Bird-In-Hand Restaurant family.
