Kenneth C. Kern

Kenneth C. Kern, 97, of Bel Air, MD died at his residence on Thursday, July 31, 2014.He was born in Baltimore, MD a son of the late Henry and Ola M. Pusey Kern.Mr. Kern was the husband of the late Dorothy Aument Kern who died March 1998.
Ken received his BS Degree in engineering from Penn State University in 1938.He was employed as an engineer for Baltimore Gas & Electric, retiring in 1979.He was a member of Bel Air United Methodist Church and a registered professional engineer in the State of Maryland.Mr. Kern enjoyed traveling andwas an avid walker.
He is survived by a daughter- in-law Kathaleen M. Kern. Ken was preceded in death both by his wife and a son Henry K. Kern who died December 10, 1997.
Private services will be held at Quarryville Cemetery, Quarryville, PA at the convenience of the family.
