Katherine Mae Miller

Katherine Mae Miller, age 78 of Paradise, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Hospice and Community Care of Mt. Joy.  She was the wife of the late Barry L. Miller who passed away on February 15, 1991.  Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Ada Swift Sharrer.  She worked as a bartender for the Polish Club in Coatesville and the American Legion in Christiana.  She was a member of the Gap V.F.W. Post 7418 and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.  In her free time, Katherine loved going to the mountains, cookouts, doing jigsaw puzzles and word searches, going to stock car races in Reading and spending time with her family and friends.  She is survived by a son, Kim S., husband of Miki Miller of Paradise, a step-daughter, Lisa Ann Miller, a granddaughter, Shannon Miller and a sister, Sana McGlaughlin of Cochranville.  She was preceded in death by a step-son, Barry Wayne Miller, a grandson, Justin Miller and a brother, Roy Sharrer.  A burial will take place a Sadsbury Friends Burial Grounds, 1089 Simmontown Road, Gap, on Friday, March 21st at 11 a.m.
