Karen E. Chambers Zakarian, 77, of Strasburg PA, went to heaven after a short illness on March 13, 2016.She was the wife of the late Rev. Howard Chambers who passed away in December 2003, and the late Paul Zakarian who passed away in June 2015.
Born in Plattsburgh NY, a daughter of the late Clarence and Mildred Westcott Shene.
A homemaker, and pastor's wife, Karen was a caregiver to many.
She is survived by 2 sons: Steven Chambers (Laurie), Thomas Chambers, 4 grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Joshua, Natalie, Sophia, and her sister Dorothy Hardy (Ken).
Funeral services will be held at Fairview Village Church of the Nazarene, 3044 W. Germantown Pike, Eagleville, PA, on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 11:00 AM.Visitations will be held at the church on Friday evening from 7-9:00 PM, and on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 AM.Interment will be in the Limerick Gardens of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastern Nazarene College, c/o Howard E.
